best places to live?
 

Hi all,

I am seriously considering moving to an area where I can make gold prospecting a serious hobby or maybe a profession.

Any suggestions on the best states/areas to look in to?

I have heard Alaska as well. You better like cold though and better be armed with something heavy duty. Sometimes the mama bears get a little upset if you come anywhere near their cubbies, and chances are you will run into this at some point while panning in streams. Good luck whatever you decide to do.

Depends on what kind of weather you like.

Arizona and California are both good choices.

Western Australia, this fellow made a BIG find...Mark Creasy made over AUD150 million when he sold his claims. Just a rock kicker that found the mother load.
